This is basically lemak cili padi but without cili padi. Some people will just call this kuah lemak but I like calling it lemak cili padi kids version because I usually make this version whenever I am making the spicier version.
Ingredients:
- 1 red onion (blend)
- 3 cloves garlic (blend)
- 1‘ ginger (blended)
- 100ml coconut milk / full cream milk
- Daun Kunyit / lime leaf
- 1-2 pc Asam Keping
- 1 table spoon cooking oil / Olive oil
- Chicken / fish meat
Instructions:
1) Heat up a pot with oil and add in the blended ingredients.
2) Fry until the smell is awesome. At this point, I was able to wash rice to be served later.
3) Add coconut milk or full cream and stir
4) Bring it up to a boil and add chicken meat.
5) Add Asam Keping, daun kunyit into the gravy.
6) Turn off heat once it’s done!
